Terms and Conditions

 

1.0 – General

1.1 – We endeavour to not make any mistakes, however please check the car specification, car service record and anything else that is relevant to your purchasing decision with your sales representative before placing an order.
1.2
 – Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. will pass to you all keys, manuals, service records and radio codes received.
1.3
 – It is agreed between the contracting parties that all disputes arising out of any contracts or agreements entered into will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland and the laws of those will apply under the provisions of the contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990.
1.4
 – The vehicle does not belong to the customer until it is paid for with cleared funds.
1.5
 – Any redistribution or re-production of any part of this website including, content, graphics, design and layout are strictly prohibited.

 

2.0 – Deposits and Pre-payments

2.1 – A minimum deposit/retainer of £50 is required with every order to show the customer’s commitment to purchase the vehicle and Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. commitment to supply the vehicle. Any payment made in excess of £50 will have been individually negotiated between Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. and the customer.
2.2
 – If the customer fails to pay the outstanding balance of the agreed purchase price without lawful reason by the agreed date, or fails to collect the vehicle by the agreed date Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and offer the vehicle for re-sale. Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd.will be entitled to claim from the customer any reasonable losses suffered which may include but are not limited to stocking charges, unrecoverable extras fitted to the vehicle, and any reduction in value of the vehicle.
2.3
 – Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. will be entitled to use the deposit and any prepayment to reduce its reasonable losses. Any excess will be returned to the customer and any shortfall will be paid by the customer. If Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. failed to deliver the vehicle by the agreed date, Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd.shall return the deposit and any prepayment to the customer and shall be liable to the customer for any reasonable losses the customer may suffer.

3.0 – Part-Exchange

3.1 – Any part exchange allowance agreed with a customer is based upon either the customer’s description of the vehicle to Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. or upon its inspection by Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. or an agent on behalf of Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. Valuations are based on the assumption that a valid V5 will be handed over by the customer.
3.2
 – Part exchange vehicles will only be accepted when accompanied by a valid V5 (Logbook). If you do not have the logbook for your part exchange vehicle in your possession, please contact your sales person as soon as possible.
3.3
 – In the event of subsequent damage to the vehicle (fair wear and tear accepted) or if the customer knowingly gave incorrect information concerning the vehicle or has concealed a defect in the vehicle which Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. relied upon, Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. may decline to take the vehicle. In this case Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. will try to agree with the customer a new allowance. If no agreement can be reached, the customer shall either pay the full price or Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and the provisions of clause 7 shall then apply.

4.0 – Warranties

4.1 – The vehicle will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty where available. Where the manufacturer’s warranty has expired supplying dealer warranty terms will apply. Extended warranties are available at an additional cost to the customer, please speak to your sales representative.
4.2
 – Any claim by the customer based upon defects in the quality or condition of the vehicle shall be notified to Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. within a reasonable time of the date of delivery, or where the defects were not apparent on a reasonable inspection, within a reasonable time after discovery of the defects.

5.0 – Important Payment Information

Acceptable methods of payment are as follows:
5.1
 Credit card – Please speak to your sales representative.
5.2
 Electronic Transfer – To: Bank of Scotland, Sort Code: 80-22-60, Account No: 22270760. Payable to Central EV Scotland Ltd, quoting the reference number of the vehicle you are purchasing.
5.3
 Cash – Due to Money Laundering Regulations, Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. are unable to receive sizable cash payments. Any intended cash payment i.e. deposit/initial payment will need prior authorisation from Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. Director. For further information please speak to your sales representative.

 

6.0 – Delivery or Collection

6.1 – To ensure you are able to collect your vehicle as planned it is essential that you bring with you on the day of collection: Your DRIVING LICENSE stating your current address is required. If you do not possess a license with your current address on it, please contact your sales representative as soon as possible
6.2
 – Delivery options can be organised with your sales representative at any time during the purchasing or disposal process.

What can you do if you wish to complain about our services?
if you wish to make a complain, please contact us in the first instance by emailing us at 
info@stirlingvehiclesolutions.co.uk and address your correspondence to the Customer Services Manager. If you remain dissatisfied with our response about the service we provided then you have the right to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service, Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR.

By accepting and signing off on this order, you agree that the vehicle is being used for your business, social, domestic or pleasure purposes. You agree that you have chosen the Vehicle relying on your own skill and judgement and that the vehicle will be suitable for the purposes you require.

  • At Stirling Vehicle Solutions Ltd. we collect and use information directly from clients when they contact us, register with us or apply for any of our services. This includes personal data.
  • We provide transport solutions and funding to small and medium size organisations plus private individuals.

  • You have the right to request us to remove your personal data or obtain a copy of the information that we hold about you. You may request correction or removal of any information that you believe to be inaccurate. Requests will be completed as soon as possible and definitely within 30 days of our confirmed receipt.
